The NJ State Elks Special Children’s Committee is offering scholarships for graduating NJ seniors with disabilities. Two $10,000 awards and two $4,000 runner-up scholarships are available.
The program awards:
- Two $10,000 scholarships (one male, one female)
- Two $4,000 runner-up scholarships
- Scholarship aid is provided in the form of annual tuition payments:
- Up to $2,500 per year for winners
- Up to $1,000 per year for runners-up
- Funding may continue for up to four years.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a bona fide New Jersey resident
- Must be a graduating senior attending a New Jersey high school
- Must have a verified physical and/or mental disability (including learning disabilities)
- Awards are based on academic standing, financial need, and general worthiness
