NJ Catastrophic Illness in Children Relief Fund

Since 1988, we have assisted NJ families with medical/mental health expenses for kids/young adults under the age of 22, regardless of their condition or their income level. Injuries, illnesses, disabilities, mental health issues, and more -- we are here for all of it, regardless of severity or duration. We can reimburse families for expenses incurred within the last 7 years that exceed at least 10% of their annual income in any one year, including therapies, modified vehicles, residential care, medications, home modifications, hospital/doctor costs, travel and more. Eligibility The child must be: a legal NJ and US resident, under the age of 22 when expenses were incurred, and the expenses must have been incurred within 7 years of the date you apply. Each application covers a 12-month consecutive time period (one year) and families can apply for multiple years at a time. Expenses must be related to the child's medical or mental health conditions, and the sum of all the child's expenses for the year must exceed 10% of the household's annual income (15% of income over $100K).
