We are a non-profit organization servicing families of our counties in Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem. We work as a team with Care Management Organization (CMO) to help support, educate, and advocate for families. We are a resource center for information and contacts.

Education / Advocacy
We provide trainings, workshops, guest speakers & other events that inform and empower our families on an individual and group basis. We also advocate for families as a whole within the various systems which include Justice, DYFS, Mental Health, & Education. We strive to ensure that the family voice is heard at all levels.

Peer Support Partners
Our Peer Support staff is unique in that each person must have a child who is or has been involved in the system of care. They attend IEPs, meeting with DYFS & make judicial appearances with the families.

Support Groups
We sponsor Parent’s Anonymous which is open to all caregivers who need input on raising children, discuss child rearing issues or just want a sympathetic ear.

Youth Partnerships
The FSO works directly with youth ages 12-21 who have been involved with the mental health, juvenile justice, or child welfare system. We plan activities, teach them appropriate ways to socialize and involve them in the community.

Warm Line
The FSO offers telephone support to family members and caregivers. We listen and offer suggestions, information, support, and referrals. Our number is (856) 507-9400.

Partners in our Communities
The FSO plays an active role in the communities we serve: Gloucester, Salem and Cumberland. Various members of the organization are involved on committees, boards, Chambers of Commerce, County Inter-Agency Coordinating Council and so much more. We are an important and active presence in our schools, our judicial system, as well as an integral part of our System Partners.
