Cumberland County Guidance Center

The Guidance Center is a primary mental health support agency, providing compassionate, professional care for individuals and families with mental health needs in the greater Cumberland County, NJ area. For more than 50 years, our non-profit organization of 175 professionals — doctors, nurses, therapists, and support staff — has assisted the community in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of mental illness.

Adult Partial Care

Weekday programming for psychiatrically disabled adults, including those with substance abuse problems. Transportation provided. Participates in the Child & Adult Care Food Program.

Jail Re-Entry

This case management program works with incarcerated individuals at the Cumberland County Jail who are diagnosed with a serious and persistent mental illness. Staff endeavors to reduce time in jail and provide an array of case management services once the individual is released and re-enters the community.

Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT)
