Programs at Appel Farm include Camp, Arts at Appel Farm, Arts in Schools and Arts in Community. Appel Farm Arts Camp is a summer camp for children ages 7-17. It offers 1, 2, 4, 6 and 8 week sessions in Visual Arts, Photography, Music, Theatre, Creative Writing, Dance, Video and Horseback Riding. Highlights of our Arts at Appel Farm program include Arts Lab, an afterschool arts program for kids grades K-5, and our Girl Scout Badge-Earning Workshops and Retreat Weekends. Through our Arts in School Programs, Appel Farm Teaching Artists work with local school and students in residencies, workshops, and curricular partnerships. The focus of our Arts in Community program is to strengthen families and build community through the arts.

CAMP
For more than 50 years, summers at Appel Farm have sparked the imaginations of thousands of young people as they interact with artists from around the world, in a beautiful part of rural southern New Jersey. Our campers, girls and boys ages 7-17 years old, come together for an overnight camp experience they won’t forget!

Appel Farm believes that the arts have the ability to change lives, positively impact families and promote physical and emotional well-being regardless of abilities or prior experience. In that spirit, we offer a wide range of workshops, residencies and field trips that bring our programs into the community.
