Foster the Family NJ brings practical support and holistic care to foster, adoptive, and kinship families in South Jersey. We do this through Foster Care Packages, in-person support groups, free Family Events and gatherings, and monthly childcare for foster/adoptive and kinship caregivers.

FURever As Friends-Pets Helping People

FURever As Friends (FAF) certified pet therapy teams visit libraries and schools for our S.M.I.L.E. program, along with Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Centers, Hospitals, Special Need Adult Centers, Funeral Homes and Group Homes. We also give presentations to schools, churches, Girl /Boy Scouts and various other organizations.

Gateway CAP Foster Grandparent Program

Our program provides opportunities for older Americans who are 55 years and older to stay active and engaged while using their past skills and tools in classroom settings. The volunteers are paired with preschool programs that focus on the social and emotional development of young children.
